GW Reveals Exclusive New Minis for Warhammer+

Warhammer-+-announcemnetDuring the reveal for the upcoming platform, GW revealed new exclusive minis for Warhammer+, along with what else to expect.

Two new minis were shown during the Twitch reveal, one for AoS and one for 40k. You will have to be subscribed for an entire year to get your minis, but it looks like you might be able to pay to get your minis a little earlier.

On top of that, they revealed what to expect you can actually get with the app. There will be a bunch of shows starting on the app day one (like all the animations they have been teasing for months), then from there, they will try to release shows weekly. Lastly, they will have GW hobby shows, battle reports, and more.

Maybe the biggest thing, you will get the 40k app and the AoS app included in the price of Warhammer+. So if you are already subscribed to those, this is a really good deal. Oh yeah, and they will be releasing a brand new AoS app along with the new edition.

GW Reveals New Exclusive Minis for Warhammer+

Exclusive miniFirst up is the Vindicare Assassin, this looks like a 3D render, but that is only half right. While it is a prototype 3d print, it’s an amazing diorama model for what hobbyists will get down the road.

They basically have a year to nail it down. Still, this is honestly pretty sweet! Not sure what base size this will be on, but it will make a perfect centerpiece for you to really sink your teeth into and let your painting ambitions go crazy. This makes sense for a model as it can be used by so many factions, so any Imperial player can take advantage of it.

Exclusive mini 2An Orruk takes the spot for AoS. The mini looks pretty sweet, but the one thing that’s hard to tell is how big it is. They said the skull on the back is an Ogors and the skull in its hand is a Stormcast. So this is just going to be giant!

The Choppa itself is probably bigger than some minis out there. Again though, you won’t get this mini until you are subscribed for a full 12 months.

Warhammer+ Launch

Warhammer+The app will be launching in August with a monthly price of 4.99£ per month or $5.99. They didn’t give prices quite yet for other currencies, so we’ll have to see if they just convert it exactly or charge a little more.

They also say you will get exclusive offers for subscribing, not sure what they will be yet. It will have all the animations that we’ve seen previewed so far, a lore show, a painting show, and a battle report show.

There will be a decent amount of content to start, with new episodes of each animation airing weekly, so you can’t just hop in and binge-watch everything. Lastly, there will be a Warhammer vault where you can go back and read all about the lore and all the 2021 WD releases.

Plus with over 12 titles ready to go, or in the works, the Animation portion looks to be stellar.

New AoS App

Age-of-sigmar-3.0-wal-hor-title-rulesThey didn’t say too much about this, but AoS will be grabbing an entirely new app. Not sure about this, because people seem to really like the old app, and they haven’t had the best track record with making new apps, So we’ll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
