We’ve seen plenty of tanks for the game, but the Land Raider Spartan is such an amazing mini; it’s awesome to see it joining Legions Imperialis!
If you’ve patiently waited for Epic Warhammer 40k to return, it’s being rebranded in the Horus Heresy era as Legions Imperialis. While we’ve seen plenty of the miniatures in the starter box, it’s always nice to see what else will come to the game!
GW announced the game will be pushed back some, but this gives us more time to decide on the game by looking at the models! If you want to see some of the core rules, you can check those out here. Let’s jump into the new miniatures.
Land Raider Spartan Tanks Blast Into Legions Imperialis!
The latest on the new Land Raider Spartan tanks come from Warhammer Community.
We’ve seen all sorts of different tracked death-dealers including the Kratos Heavy Tank and the earthshaking Medusa and Basilisk, but one tank has been conspicuously absent – the legendary Spartan.
This adaptation of Arkhan Land’s powerful Land Raider is finally revealed in epic scale. Built on a sturdy and reliable chassis, this tracked terror both protects and destroys equally well.
From the looks of it, you will get four tanks in a box, which isn’t that much compared to the other tank boxes. But we expect these to be much bigger than most tanks, so it makes sense. Either way, they look cool in epic form.
The Spartan Assault Tank is one of theLegiones Astartes’ most robust and dangerous transports. Equipped to carry a hefty load of Terminators or Legionaries, it’s also armed with two sets of quad-linked lascannon or laser destroyer arrays that can sunder armour with ease making it a multidisciplinary powerhouse.
With two sets of quad-linked lascannons and the ability to carry a ton of Terminators, four of these on the battlefield should be quite powerful and get your minis where they need to go!
