Necromunda Promethium Tank Refuelling Station Revealed!

new-necromunda-modelsYou need fuel out in the long desert expanses of the Ash Wastes, and the Necromunda Promethium Tank Refuelling Station is the way to fuel up!

With the new Cinderak Burning book, we expect to keep seeing some reveals, this also looks like it will work with some of the existing kits; that way you can take your fuel with you wherever you go!

Warhammer Community unveiled the new terrain along with what it can be used for and converted up with.

Necromunda Promethium Tank Refuelling Station Revealed!

Refueling Station

This modular scenery set contains four promethium tanks, built using interchangeable segments that allow you to choose the height of each tank. These come with two platforms – definitely the safest place to be in a firefight – and two overflow tanks with easy-access ladders.

Plus, there’s a bunch of fuel station accessories – two crates with a choice of contents, two hoses, four wrenches, four blowtorches, and two spanner sets.

This is a pretty cool set, and if you want to add some extra danger to your games (or objectives), this is perfect. Plus, there are some cool accessories, and they can be kitbashed with existing kits.

These parts can be used in numerous combinations, and the kit as a whole is compatible with a variety of plastic terrain kits – including the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler, the Cargo-8 Trailer, and various other fuel pipes. You’ll even be able to buy a trailer-tank set specifically for carting promethium around the ash wastes.

But that’s not all! As you’d expect – nay, insist – from an unmanned repository of intensely volatile high-yield future fuel, the kit includes special rules for using the Promethium Tank Refuelling Stations.

These can only be found in the construction booklet included in the box, and they include highlights such as Liquid Creds for selling your fiery bounty, Free Fuel for keeping those flamers lit, Fuel Slicks for slipping and sliding all over the place, and Kaboom! for… well, you can probably guess.

It’s always good to get special rules, especially probably because they won’t be super cheap. Still, it will add some value, and being able to add it to your Ridgehauler will as well.
