It’s codex Tyranids versus the Space Wolf Dreadnought Wall in today’s $300 Army Battle Report Challenge! Who will come out on top?
The Tyranids have swarmed a planet that happened to be home of a force of Space Wolf Dreadnoughts. Lucus and Juice go head to head, with Lucus and his Space Wolves going first in this head to head battle of $300 armies.

The Space Wolves have six different Dreadnoughts which include: Bjorn the Fel-handed, Master Fang, and four different Venerable Dreadnoughts. Bjorn is the HQ choice for this army. Each kit is $54, for a total of $324.
The Tyranids have a Broodlord ($40), Genestealers ($40), and Termgants (30), Tervigon ($57), Exocrine ($73), Old One Eye (50), and the Red Terror ($35). Total price for this army is $325. The Tyranids are being run as Hive Fleet Behemoth, which allows the army to reroll failed charge distances.
Turn one, Lucus moves his full distance with each Dreadnought, planning to rain down as many shots as possible on the hidden Hive Fleet. The Space Wolves manage to kill a unit of Termgants and manages to wound Old One Eye for four wounds. Lucus ends his first turn winning First Blood victory points.
Turn one for Juice, Old One Eye recovers a wound automatically. The Red Terror pops up within 9″ of the Dreadnoughts. The Tervigon spawns 10 more Termgants to create a new unit. The Broodlord is able to cast Onslaught (allows advance and shoot without penalty) and Catalyst (5+ save to ignore any wound or mortal wound) on Old One Eye. Old One Eye, the Broodlord, the Red Terror, and the Tervigon all make their charge rolls and get into close combat. The Tyranids take down one Dreadnought, which explodes causes two damage to several other Dreadnoughts and the surrounding Tyranids.
