imperial army lists Solar Auxilia

I going to say this upfront guys, don’t get your hopes up for massive changes and additions, the SA, IM &WC, and QK lists are overall pretty solid. This book is more for dealing with minor typos, slight points adjustments and adding in the newer plastic knights (as well as not having to carry several large black books around as well).

Solar Auxilia

  • no adjustments found, only changes is that the thallax and castellax at the end of it, now have the updated taghmata rules and costs. thallax as part of a SA force can not take augmentations as in regular mechanicum forces.

Imperial Militia and Warp Cults

  • the rogue pysker now has a points cost of 35pts listed
  • the militia quad-mortar is explicitly listed as only having frag rounds no options for buying others.

Questoris Knight House

  • Paladin and Errant gain the turret options as given in the january Faq. they don’t gain the option of the meltagun.
  • knights gallant, crusader and warden are now in the list, gaining the standard 30k knight option of taking occular augmentics, and bio-corrosive rounds for heavy stubbers
  • the atrapos from book 6 is added to the army list still a 0-1 per 2000pts option.
As said previously, compared to the legion list, these army lists are all pretty new, having all been written for 7th edition, and had no ‘broken’ or ‘useless’ units compared to the CAL list. so to see no serious changes or adjustments isn’t surprising.
The Solar Auxilia

True to form these are “newer” rules so it’s good to still see supplements come out so we don’t have to lug the big black books around everywhere. The Solar Auxilia is quickly becoming more and more popular on the 30k scene, and these references make it even easier to start collecting them.
