Ancient Techniques For Those Sylvaneth Green Effects – Age of Sigmar

Yo dawg, today we’re going to be getting deep in the woods and showing you how to add some “Next Level” magic to your Tree Lords!!

Step 1. Base Coat with Gnarls Green!!

Step 2. Iosan Green, we’re getting the tip and the hilt areas, we’re not going with OSL, we want it to look alive, like the colors are shifting throughout.

Step 3. Necrotite Green, we’re going to hit the tips and the base to reinforce the transition.

Step 4. Flash Gits Yellow and Necrotrite Green, engage the Necrotrite Green to make it pop.

Step 5. Flash Gitz by itself for the final punch!

Step 6. Step away form the brush and paint the hilt black to make the sick contrast, paint by number, don’t get the black on the green.

Step 7,. Now we’re going to add green highlights, nice and watered down. inside the channel. I don’t what this to be dark like it normally would be, I wanted to be bright so it looked like there was energy flowing from deep down inside.

Step 8. Hit it with less watered down pain on the edges.

 

Step 9. Now we’re going to add grey to the hilt, then we’re going to go white. I don’t want this to be different than just some metallic hilt.

Side Step: I’m using the Charred Umber from the rest of the model to tie it in so you see how it’ll look.

Step 10: ???? … Profit!
