warhammer-40k-10th-Edition-launch-releases-new-products-pricing-next-weekHere is the pricing and the pre-order lineup for the new 10th Edition Core Rule Book, Crusade Tyrannic War, Mission Deck, and more!

Get those hobby dollars ready if you want any of these new releases from Games Workshop that will go up for pre-order with your favorite retailers on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, around 1 pm EST!

New 10th Edition Core Rule Book, Crusade Rules, & BL Pricing CONFIRMED!

While Leviathan is sold out pretty much everywhere, you can still score the core rule book! GW did release all the core rules for free, but the rule book will have fluff, plenty of amazing artwork, and also include Crusade rules.

GW hasn’t been very keen on releasing crusade rules for free, so if that’s your favorite game type, you will have to pick up some physical books to get those rules. Either way, if you want a physical book or index cards, this will be the release for you!

10th Edition Core Rule Book: $65

Warhammer 40,000 Core Book

Every edition comes with a hefty tome to start things off, and this one is no different. The Warhammer 40,000 Core Book is a weighty, 280-page hardback book that contains everything you need to start your journey into the grim darkness of the far future.

It contains dozens upon dozens of pages of lore and artwork detailing the history that underpins Warhammer 40,000 and the events unfolding across its dying stars, as well as faction focus sections with background info and miniature galleries. You’ll also get the core rules for the game, plus rules for playing Combat Patrol games – including six missions.

If you own a copy of Warhammer 40,000: Leviathan, you already have a tome that contains everything in this book – but for everyone else, it presents a perfect starting point for the new edition.

As with each major edition, you can pick up this one starting this week! Which is perfect for those of us who weren’t interested or couldn’t get Leviathan.

These provide all the datasheets for that faction, plus their army rules and a themed Detachment. Tyrannic War Crusade Supplement: $60

Crusade Tyrannic War

The Crusade game mode has been revamped, and you’ll even be able to update your existing campaigns for the new edition with free rules coming next week. This 184-page Crusade: Tyrannic War book provides the full new Crusade rules, then expands the experience with rules and missions that evoke the nightmarish Tyranid invasion at the heart of the Fourth Tyrannic War.

Bespoke Battle Traits, Crusade Relics, Crusade Blessings and Agendas feature alongside traits for Monster Hunters and Striding Behemoths – usable by any faction, not just the hungry Hive Mind and its Imperial prey – as well as 15 Tyrannic War Crusade Missions that tell the story of the Galactic West under attack by numerous Hive Fleets. There’s also plenty of background information detailing this invasion and the consequences for the Bastior Sub-sector.

Note that the printed contents of this book are the same as the Crusade section in the Warhammer 40,000: Leviathan Core Book – if you already bought Leviathan, you already have these rules and lore.

Along with competitive missions, players can experience a more narrative experience via the Crusade Campaigns thanks to an upcoming Tyrannic War Crusade Supplement!

JOYTOY Terminator CaptainAt first glance, they packed some great detail into this figure, and he looks very much like the mini!  He doesn’t have a crazy amount of extra parts, but plenty to get him in a bunch of poses.

Overall, just a great model, and if your small Terminators see him, they better perform on the battlefield!

40k JOYTOY Primaris Captain: $44.90

JOYTOY Terminator Captain 4While we’ve had a lot of Ultramarines, it’s always cool to get more characters!

His power sword is pretty giant and awesome! Plenty big enough to cut through those new Tyranids. Again, he doesn’t have a ton of bits, but you can go without or without the cape, and you don’t even have to wear a helmet if you’re too cool.

At first glance, they packed all sorts of detail into this figure!

JOYTOY 40k Guilliman 2You’ll also get two head options with the figure, but that only makes sense, as you need to have the option to be too cool for helmets if you want it!  If you have him on the table watching over your games, how can you possibly lose?

New Grandmaster Voldus: $80

Click on these links to order yours for less:  Flyima | Locker Toys Entertainment Earth Sideshow Collectibles Amazon | or eBay |

joytoy voldus 1

Nothing quite matches the flair of a named character!  As a Terminator, Voldus will be a pretty decent size. If you have him on the table watching over your games, you’ll have his blessing while hunting daemons. (he is an excellent Psyker, after all)

New Blood Angels Assault Terminators: $378

Click on these links to order yours for less:  Flyima | Locker Toys Entertainment Earth Sideshow Collectibles Amazon | or eBay |

JOYTOY Blood Angels TerminatorsIt’s always awesome to get full squads, and what’s more intimidating than some assault terminators?  From the looks of it, these don’t have an insane number of bits, but they still look great, and we expect them to be super articulate.

They even give them some serious fangs, which is just awesome!

Ultramarine Primaris Chaplain Brother Varus: $66

Click on these links to order yours for less:  Flyima | Locker Toys Entertainment Earth Sideshow Collectibles Amazon | or eBay |

JOYTOY Chaplain 8This is possibly the coolest Chaplain we’ve seen yet! Picking this up will really buff up your collection.  He doesn’t have a huge number of options, but plenty to make some really cool dioramas!

Like with a lot of the models, you can either go bareheaded or throw on the helmet for that extra bit of protection.
