Necrons Combat Patrol Description
The box has a decent mix of units, with Warriors for your Battleline, an Overlord to lead your forces, some Skorpekh to smash through your enemies, and a Doomstalker to bring them down from afar!

So, you’re eyeing that Combat Patrol box, huh? Good choice! These boxes are basically the VIP pass to starting a killer Warhammer 40k army. You get a solid mix of units – from the tough-as-nails troops to those snazzy specialist units.
It’s like assembling an all-star team right out of the gate, plus you can even play this box as is in smaller games of Warhammer 40k, aptly called “Combat Patrol.”

Is the Necrons Combat Patrol Worth It?
Honestly… no. The only thing you get for “free” is the Overlord, which isn’t even a totally new mini but is finally available on its own. So, there isn’t even the value of getting a hard-to-find mini.
Realistically, you’d probably be better off just buying what models you want and not a collection that GW has chosen for you. This is the lowest value we’ve ever seen in a Combat Patrol, and we would recommend trying to find the Indomitus era starter from the secondary market somewhere (or even the old CP Box is a better value).
What to Buy Next?
Honestly, it’s hard to say, as this doesn’t have many minis or value. You are still more or less at the starting point for an army and can take it any way you want, whether you want to go the route with way more Destroyers or tons of Warriors and Immortals.
While it might not have the highest value, The Necrons Combat Patrol still offers a great way for new players to start building their armies and explore the Necrons faction.
