It’s a MYSTERY! What the heck is happening to the Eldar Holofields?

First we get a Rulebook FAQ that says skimmers (and heavy vehicles) can no longer use their ‘jink’ ability if they are immobilized, making them a little less effective for Wave Serpents.

And now with the Harlequin Starweaver rules there is a new holofield entry that looks very similar another Holofield that Eldar players have come to know and love for a few years.

Let’s take a look!

This is the Holofield entry from Codex Eldar.

Now the entry from what will be the Codex Harlequins!

See what I mean? It’s literally the same fluff and title BUT DIFFERENT RULES!

Now I’m sure everyone will have their own theory out there about what all this means. Remember though, we saw a similar thing with the Space Wolves ‘Shock’ power and how the 7th Edition rule for the Necron’s ‘Tesla’ fell along the same school of thought.

So what should we expect from a 7th Edition version of the Holofields, or have we already seen it here?
