Calling all pilots! Come see this EPIC X-Wing Miniatures 500 point battle report that pits the two biggest ships, along with tons of their friends, against each other!
Deployment sees tons of room for the raider, but the Tantive is all jammed up in it’s own set up area. Going to be a few turns before the big boys square off!
A few turns later, the fighter are poised to engage as the Decimater and Phantom skirt the flanks, probing for the Raider.
Seeing no threats to the Raider, the Decimator turns inside to help out the fighters, while the Phantom follows suit and begins the delicate dance of arc dodging!
Just one turn later, both sides have taken a beating. It’s still to close to call…
The Decimator dodges the surging Tantive just in time, and starts to help mop up the Rebel resistance.
The Big boys finally square off, and the Tantive manages to dodge the sweet spots of over-lapping fire with both of it’s movements engaging the Raider. That wasn’t enough however, and in the end THREE turns of sustained fire from the Raider was too much to over come.
The only ship alive at the end was the Raider after killing his last 2 ships when turning to deliver the killing blow to the Tantive!
Wow what a game! Makes me want to crank up the John Williams soundtrack on repeat and make some pew pew laser noises.
