Inquisitor’s TIE Expansion Pack $14.95

Each wave of starship expansions for X-Wing is designed to expand the ranks of all three factions. So as our last previews focused on the Ghost Expansion Pack and what its ships and crew can offer your budding Rebel forces, it is only natural that we continue our Wave VIII previews with a look at the Imperial expansion pack that features one of the Lothal rebels’ greatest adversaries, the Inquisitor.

Along with the Inquisitor’s ship card, the Inquisitor’s TIE Expansion Pack prominently features its deadly miniature TIE Advanced prototype, sculpted and pre-painted at the game’s standard 1/270 scale. You will also find three more ship cards, five upgrades, a maneuver dial, and all the tokens you need to force your opponent to recognize the power of the dark side of the Force.

Well this new ship is definitely bringing the heat to games of X-Wing. It seems like they’re still giving missiles and torpedoes the old college try still too with the new upgrade card xx-23 s-thread tracers.

Personally I dig this one, it takes one of the steps out of the launch sequence (getting a target lock) making bomber builds even easier than before!

Next up is the saucy guidance chips upgrade that’s basically free on ships not running modifications, again making bomber type builds more feasible.

The inquisitor himself is dirty, throwing 3 dice at any range and look at that action bar!  All that’s missing is Autothrusters, Push the Limit, and maybe the new ship title to give him a free evade when he target locks.

Soontir Fel better watch his back, the Inquisitor is coming and X-Wing miniatures may NEVER be the same!

No one tell Vader he got a crappy version of the TIE Advanced Prototype….
