Leviathan Pattern Siege Dreadnought

2016-03-13_1018

Thanks to the winter break I finally had plenty of time to make something serious. So I decided I should stick to what I like to build best of all, WH40K that is 😀

This pattern was introduced at the end of the year, I saw its pre-release images and I somehow overlooked its official release. Anyway, I really like this design and its backstory. And I guess it turned out to be a great Lego model to start a year! It has a very nice articulation and should be pretty stable IRL. Equipped with Siege Claw, Storm Cannon plus carapace-mounted Volkite Calivers and Phosphex Discharger. Fortunately, it’s big enough to house all of this stuff (yet still being in scale with the rest of my WH40K models). They’re getting wider and wider, these dreadnoughts…

A little LDD screenshot giving you an idea of some inner complexity of this model.
