Games Workshop just updated the rules for both Sisters and Custode Guard and has ended the debate on if they are “legal” for games of Warhammer 40k.

First there was the 4 page PDF download for the brand new units in the Burning of Prospero box set, but then some time between Wednesday evening and today, it became a 6 page PDF with two new formations making both units now playable in games of 40k!

Checkout the new formations straight from Games Workshop:

We hear you guys – you want to use your Sisters of Silence and Custodian Guard in Battle Forged armies. Who wouldn’t?
Well, here you go, a formation for each that lets you do just that, and brings a few bonus rules with it too. Enjoy!

The problem of Guardian Spears with NO invunerable is now solved, and with their block mechanic perhaps making these immediate army includes for a lot of players out there.

Taking more dice is better for sure, and clocking in at half the points of a Callidus these ladies are looking better and better by the minute!

So looks like were going to see these models in the game now much sooner than later!

So is the 40k sky falling after all, or was did those WAAC players just regret buying 10 copies of the game? Will YOU be playing with these models in your army?
