Today Duncan from Warhammer TV shows us all, in great detail, how to paint the Custodian Guards and get the ready for the tabletop!
Warhammer TV is known for their great painting tutorials and this one is no different!
Via Warhammer TV
First Duncan applies two thin coats of Retributor Armour over the entire model, making sure all the black primer is completely covered.
Next some Reikland Fleshshade is washed over the entire model and then left for about an hour to dry.
After the shade is completely dry, Auric Armour Gold is applied to all of the edges for the first highlighting step.
Further highlight is done by applying Liberator Gold to all of the sharp edges of the armour.
If you choose to go even further with the highlighting, Stromhost Silver can be added to the sharpest parts of the armour.
Apply a couple of coats of Abaddon Black to the spear, being very careful to leave the gold squiggles untouched and then the black is highlighted with Eshin Grey.
This was just a small part of the full painting tutorial. To find out how Duncan paints the rest of the model, check out the video below!
