Two new tanks were spotted at the Warhammer 40k open day for the fledgling Adeptus Custodes Guard, and the rules for the Caladius Grav-tank were revealed.

Looks like a transport version may be on the way as well. Note the underslung guns and de-attached rear weapons mount.

Strength 7 rending is no joke, but it will take more than that to crack armor 14 consistently though. I like these guys, but in a more anti-heavy infantry / light armor busting role. Not sure if the Custodes will have an issue breaking armor from range at this point, maybe they’ll just have to do it in hand to hand somehow!
Talons of the Emperor seem to be a thing now, look for more Custodes in the upcoming Book VII: Inferno for the Horus Heresy soon.

- Try your hand at computer games from our licensee companies, bringing their Warhammer 40,000 related games for you to experience.
We are proud to announce that for the first time at an Open Day, we will be running a tournament on each separate day, using the recent Kill Team rules. You’ll build a small force of 200 points and get to play 3 games against like minded opponents. PLEASE NOTE: Playing in the tournament will cost a little extra and we only have very limited spaces. Get yours early to make sure you get to play!
This Golden Demon competition focuses on Xenos and Chaos – the Enemies of the Imperium of mankind in the 41st Millennium. All things heretical and alien are welcome here!
Either enjoy seeing some amazing miniatures from painters stretching their creative abilities, or enter and compete yourself! The competition is open to all who purchase a ticket to the Warhammer 40,000 Open Day at Warhammer World in November. You’ll perhaps win a coveted Golden Demon trophy, or maybe event the Slayer Sword itself!
On 5th & 6th November 2016 admission to all areas of Warhammer World and Bugman’s Bar will require a ticket. Children age 11 and under go free. No children under the age of 18 years will be admitted to the Venue unless accompanied and supervised by a ticket holding adult aged 18 years or over.
Your ticket covers access to Warhammer World’s available general facilities and services, the Exhibition Centre, and participation in the Golden Demons on Sunday 6th.
