“Information on other campaign comes in two parts next year.

Follows from Warzone Fenris and focuses on the Dark Angels chapters and their successors , who embark on a crusade depues the cataclysm of Fenris.

Dark Angels receive a deployment order in Cadia by the High Lords of Terra, like the Wolves and almost all the other chapters. But something else has caught his attention and must intercept fast .. but the dilemma is .. if you do not arrive in time to Cadia, be very suspicious and would be difficult to explain to the Empire .. but if not intercept this thing / person / army (can not say!), could well mean the end of the Angels and even the Empire .. or so I think .. who knows? 😉

The first book is called ‘ The Hunt’ and focuses on the Dark Angels and their successors chapters and the second book is called ‘ The Fall’ and focuses on theFallen Angels and Chaos .
Everything revolves around a desperate race to Terra because of the 13th Black Crusade.

It also features the return of a loyal Primarch, you guessed it , The Lion .. and well and ready to continue the game of cat and mouse, the villain most beloved by all, the champion Zahariel .. I mean Cypher ! “

Rumors aside we do know from the Angels of Caliban novel that Zahariel DOES take up the mantle of Cypher in that book. However, that was 10,000 years before the current 40k era.

So does that line up with the primarch rumors we’ve been hearing for some time?

BoLS is reporting today that there may just be more awesome releases for 40k on the way in 2017:

Industry professionals tell BoLS the following:

  • Abandon’s nascent 13th Black Crusade whose opening moves were described in Traitor’s Hate will be getting into full swing in 2017 and will be breaking out of the Cadian Gate and setting course for Terra.
  • Magnus the Red is only the beginning, look for some other Daemon Primarchs to gather their legions and follow the Warmaster onto the tabletop with minis.
  • They WILL be opposed by certain Loyalist Primarchs who will make an unexpected return with minis to boot!
  • Look for more Imperial sub-factions being added to the game. Chaos must be stopped at all costs.

So yes that does seem like they are advancing the story a bit, and co-coincides with previous “good guy” primarch rumors we had been hearing a few months ago. Plus a march on Terra gives GW ample opportunity to develop out the Custodes and Sisters of Silence ranges more as well.

And of course how can you have a Black Crusade of this magnitude, without a new Abaddon mini as well?

Is it time to reset the clock on these rumors or keep watch for more confirmations? Only time and GW will tell for sure!
