We’ve been seeing a lot of new rules coming out for the Kharadron Overlords. So before we jump into more let’s take a look at some of the lore that comes attached to these guys, and their desire for Aether-Gold.

And now for the new unit rules and some Warscroll Battalions point cost.
Arkanaut Admiral
The Arkanaut Admiral has both a missile and melee weapon. The Skalfhammer is looking to put a hurting on your enemy if they get close with 2 attacks, 3+ to hit, 2+ to wound, -2 rend, and 2 damage. Plus if you’re attacking a Hero or Monster you get to re-roll failed hit and wound rolls of 1 with his If You Want A Job Done ability. But if you put him on a Skyvessel his Master of the Skies ability kicks in and allows that Skyvessel to run and shoot the same turn. That’s not a bad little touch.
Arkanaut Frigate
The Arkanaut Frigate is one hard hitting Skyvessel! The Heavy Sky Cannon and Heavy Skyhook both have an 18″ range and -2 Rend, it’s definitely going to be a tough save roll if you get hit by either of these.
With a list of 11 Abilities you might want to sit down and read over them before trying to field this guy, that’s where all the fun begins on this ship! Dropping bombs on your opponent after they charge, moving D6 after wounding an enemy with the Skyhook, throwing spikes at enemy flying units, and on top of it during the hero phase it gets to heal 1 wound on a 4+. How much more could you ask for?
