Director Krennic is a cruel but brilliant new Villain that adds some serious damage potential to your dice pool. His die feature 2 ranged, 1 focus, 2 disrupt, 2 discard, and 1 resource. If you bump him up to his Elite version, he will be rolling some serious hurt for your opponent to deal with. His special ability makes him all the better. Whenever you control the battlefield, after you activate Krennic, you may roll a Death Trooper die into your attack pool.
The Death Trooper die is all about raw damage. Whatever ranged upgrades you have or even just have another ranged character, your dice will be putting out some serious ranged damage. 1 ranged, 1 ranged, 2 ranged, +2 ranged and 1 disrupt is a solid die. The Death Trooper can struggle however to net you some resources, so let’s go yellow.
Bala-Tik is the perfect character to accompany Director Krennic. His die complements well, with Krennic and has an amazing passive ability. 1 ranged, +2 ranged, 1 focus, 1 shield, and 1 resource round out Bala-Tik’s die to help out the ranged damage output of Krennic and the Death Trooper die in your pool. Since this combo will be pumping out mad sick damage, Bala-Tik’s ability is more readily available. Whenever a opponent’s character is defeated, you may ready Bala-Tik. This can be helpful by rolling Bala-Tik into your pool, resolving him to kill a character, and then have him ready to roll again. No opponent could handle that onslaught for long!
