New Space Marines Primaris Tank Picture Spotted?

primaris book cover horFrom the looks of this picture the Space Marines may be getting a new tank alongside their hated starter set foes, the Death Guard!

We know that there may be new tanks incoming for the Death Guard based on the art that appeared in their initial video preview back in March, and now there is a picture of what appears to be new Space Marine tank model making the rounds as well.

Are there new Astartes tanks on the way for the factions in the new Dark Imperium starter set? Let’s take a look:

Death Guard Tank Bright

Colorized Rumor Engine

That looks really grimy and nasty, could it belong those Nurgle tanks that were spotted in the Death Guard preview video from Adepticon?

So now it looks like the loyalists may be getting a new piece of armor as well. Checkout this new tank was spotted in the background of this image that was seen at Warhammer Fest:

Here’s a little better look:
New Primaris Tank

This new tank looks like a Primaris version of a hybrid Predator /Land Raider variant. Perhaps with some Sicarian battle tank styling, and front hull mounted weapons mixed in for good measure.

Checkout the top of the tank that appears to have a twin linked weapon system mounted on both sides of the turret itself, with what could be a top communications or targeting dish on the top?

Are those side sponsons as well on the port side? It’s hard to see in this already pixelated image that may have come from a video computer screen-cap.

Is this a new heavily armed troop transport for the Primaris Space Marines? It sure does look like they’ll fit inside with plenty of leg room.

We haven’t seen anything from Games Workshop in regards to either of these tanks, but we are anxiously waiting on a reveal.

What do you think about, what appears to be, the new tank for the Space Marines?
