Today is a huge day for Death Guard fans everywhere. We’re getting the first full picture of the Mortarion model in all his glory!
Mortarion has been spotted, but before the big reveal let’s take a look at what we previously knew leading up to this.
Several sources had confirmed that the picture below is in fact Mortarion’s scythe and there will indeed be a new model for the Plague Primarch released.
Plus as Games Workshop put it, this weapon is ” big enough to fell a primarch”.
We got to see a glimpse of the all familiar scythe that Mortarion wields, and because of the orientation it seems like we’re looking at him from the back.

The latest pic of Mortarion was spotted over on Spikey Bits Hobbies, and the model looks amazing! Let’s take a look, and be sure to compare to the images that were spotted above.
This looks to be from a book or magazine, but where exactly we’re not sure. We’ve been hearing about Mortarion for a couple months now, and this is the first time we’re seeing the entirety of the model, and not just bits and pieces.
Wow the new model looks like it’s going to tower over the rest, as the Angel of Nurgle should. This isn’t going to be the last we see of him, so make sure you keep it locked here for the latest updates.
