Games Workshop just announced you will be able to get the Legio Custodes Orion Assault Dropship very soon. This new ship is designed to get your Custodes into battle safely, and keep them safe from the air.
Created as a dedicated assault dropship for the Legio Custodes, the Orion can carry a full task force of the Emperor’s Talons into combat. Protected by frontal armour superior to that of the Legiones Astartes Thunderhawk Gunship, its weapons can swiftly clear a landing zone of hostile infantry and armour with brutal efficiency, allowing the units within to deploy before it soars back into the sky to unleash death upon any foe who dares approach.

So much room for activities! The new Orion Assault Dropship is a fantastic looking model, and we can’t wait to see how you guys decide to paint it up. We got our first preview of the new Dropship during Forge World Open Day a couple weeks ago via Garro.
The intended purpose of the new Dropship is clearing a drop zone, unloading Custodes, getting out quick, and keeping them safe from the air. That sounds like a great ship for any army to get the opportunity to have, not to mention the overall design of this model. Forge World never ceases to amaze us, we wonder what they’ll come out with next.
