New Codex Release Date Schedule Rumors Redacted?

We’ve seen a couple rumors this week for release schedules for the upcoming codex books, and now it looks like they have all been redacted.

The latest rumors was spotted on Faeit 212  and shows a different release schedule that what was spotted on reddit recently (which may also not pan out depending on the actual release date for Death Guard). Gary from Faeit, wrote a follow up article saying they all weren’t right according to a different “very good source”. That is, after everyone already ran it yesterday with the normal salt warning, with the exception of one site….

Let’s take a look at the latest rumor, then what Faeit had to say afterwards.

Release Schedule Faeit

Just wanted to give you a heads up; the remaining codexes this year that have not been announced are;
Thousand Sons
Astra Militarum
Blood Angels
Dark Angels
Space Wolves

The 3 marine ones will be released on the same day and are the last for the year.

Then shortly after they posted the following in the article “Getting to the Bottom of the Codex Release Order”

Release Schedule Faeit

Faeit was indeed the source of the latest release schedule rumor that had been floating around, which may just reinforce the notion that not everything you read on the internet is true, even if you add salt.

So where are we now? We’re right back to where we were before, not knowing the release order of future codecies.

Guess we’ll all have to wait for GW’s BIG announcement next Wednesday August 30th to know more about what may be around the corner in Q4 for the toymaker.

What are your thoughts?
