typhon seige tankGames Workshop just revealed a new teaser video for the World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder. Come take a look at the new tanks and trailer!

The new trailer coming out of Games Workshop is giving us a nice teaser of the graphics and tanks we’ll be seeing in the new World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder. Let’s take a look at the new teaser and see what they had to say about the gameplay.

Gameplay Details

The game pits two teams of 7 tanks against each other, with victory achieved when one side is obliterated or when one successfully captures a critical objective on the map. Battles are fast and furious but require more than just agility and quick reflexes. You need to make the most of your tank’s unique advantages (such as heavy armour, manoeuvrability or pure raw speed) to find the enemy team’s weak spots. You’ll find that teamwork, however, is the key to ultimate victory.

Each battle rewards you with in-game currency, experience points and materials which can be used to customise and upgrade your existing tank fleet, and to add more to tanks to your roster. There are also missions which can span multiple games which, when completed, give you extra rewards including bonus experience and buffs which give you that extra edge in an upcoming battle. It has action, it has tactics and it has strategy, but most importantly – it has tanks!

More information will be revealed as Halloween approaches, but we can share this sneak peek image from the game with you now. Wargaming have also prepared a short trailer to whet your appetite…

World of Tanks is already a very popular video game, and it looks like their fan base is about to grow even more. They recently announced that they are collaborating with Games Workshop and working on bringing new tanks into the game from the 41st millennium.

Both World of Tanks Blitz and Warhammer 40,000 are about fierce battles. Residents of these universes are tough, strong-willed, and brutal. Their only goal is victory, and there is only one way to achieve it—to destroy enemy forces. There is no place for weakness, no quarter is asked and none is given, and armored vehicles are extremely valued here.

For the Emperor! In Blitz!

The collaboration of these warlike universes was just a matter of time, and now the time has come!

«For over 30 years, Warhammer 40,000 has grown into one of the world’s best known science fantasy universes, featuring a huge variety of devastating war machines. The opportunity to combine 40,000 with the amazing game that Wargaming has created opens up a world of exciting possibilities for fans of both,” said Jon Gillard, Head of Licensing at Games Workshop. “We can’t wait for all of them to join us behind the controls of the exclusive content that we’ve prepared together».

Warhammer 40k began as a tabletop miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop, set in a dystopian science fantasy universe. Over the years, the universe has expanded to video games, novels, comics and more, garnering a huge following around the globe.

«World of Tanks Blitz has brought lots of stunning collaborations in the past,” said Andrey Ryabovol, World of Tanks Blitz Publishing Product Director at Wargaming. “Warhammer 40,000 has such a rich universe, which opens up new ways to bring each of our worlds together. World of Tanks Bltiz is a game that revels in the fact it can create a place where real and alternative histories clash on the battlefield to delight its community. We’re really excited to unveil what we have in store, so our players can look forward to some exciting news soon».

World of Tanks Blitz will soon be visited by monstrous and unforgettable inhabitants of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and the rage of battles will heat up!
