Versatile and deadly, the Star Wing makes its X-Wing™ debut in Wave XII with the Alpha-class Star Wing Expansion Pack!
Having originally appeared in the Star Wars: X-Wing computer game by LucasArts, the Star Wing quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its impressive array of lasers, ion cannons, missiles, and torpedoes. These made it a true threat to Rebels everywhere, and the Star Wing was one of the few Imperial starfighters to boast its own hyperdrive and deflector shields.
Now the ship enters X-Wing at a time when the Empire faces not only the Rebellion’s insurgency, but the additional challenges presented by the galaxy’s Scum and Villainy. It’s harder than ever to anticipate the dangers your squadrons might face. Your rivals might fly aggressively or defensively. They might fly in tight formations or seek to pull your ships in different directions. You must be versatile in order to be victorious.

The Alpha-class Star Wing looks like it’s going to be a great addition to your Imperial forces. The SLAM feature is going to make you very quick, while the titles give you the option to fire secondary weapons, even while you have the Weapons Disable token. Coming with 4 hull and 3 shields, this ship is definitely going to take some effort to take down.

The first widely deployed Imperial starfighter to boast shields and a hyperdrive, the Alpha-class Star Wing had limited maneuverability, but was heavily armed for its size. The fighter remains impressively durable and destructive in X-Wing™, where its two agility, four hull, and three shields are paired with the ability to unleash cascading torrents of missile and cannon fire. The Star Wing’s pre-painted miniature is accompanied by four ship cards, seven upgrades, one maneuver dial, reference cards for the reload action and jam tokens, and all the plastic and tokens you need to fly the ship to battle.
