The much anticipated World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder is now available for download on your tablet and PC. Come take a look at what to expect!
Games Workshop announced that the new World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder event is now live and available for download. Let’s see what they had to say about it and take a look at some new screenshots.
What is World of Tanks Blitz?
World of Tanks Blitz is a fast-paced game of tank warfare, pitting players against one another in fierce online skirmishes. Choosing your favourite tank from history (and now, the 41st Millennium!) you’ll be able to put your tactical skills to the test against thousands of other players in multiplayer battlegrounds. Here at Games Workshop, we think tanks are awesome, so when Wargaming.net gave us the opportunity to bring some of our favourite vehicles to life in Blitz, we knew we couldn’t refuse.
After you’ve unlocked your vehicles, there’s still plenty more to do. As well as trying your Vindicator and Predator out on a range of battlefields, you’ll be able to customise your tanks with a couple of unlockable colour schemes – Dark Angels green and Imperial Fists yellow.
Don’t delay – the event has already begun, and you’ve only got until the 15th of November to win your Vindicator and Predator! Find out more at the World of Tanks website, or download the app for yourself on the Google Play and Apple app stores.
The new World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder is now available for download, and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. The event runs through November 15th, so you have just under a month to enjoy blowing other people up with your Warhammer tanks. Make sure you head on over to the World of Tanks website and download the app for both Apple and Google Play users.
Did you miss the previews of World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder? Let’s a look at everything we’ve seen so far, including a behind the scenes look.
This was a really great video to watch, and insightful on how both companies look at the hobby. You can tell that both Games Workshop and Wargaming.net have a lot of passion about their product, and they both put that into the making of Macragge’s Thunder.
World of Tanks is a tank vs tank game that focuses on older tanks, nothing science fiction or futuristic… That was, until they they teamed up with Games Workshop to make Macragge’s Thunder. Both companies quickly realized that they were all gamers at heart, loved what they do, and it was really easy to find a common ground in the making of Macragge’s Thunder.
One of the latest previews from Sk8xtrm is showing off the Vindicator and Predator tanks, as well as their stats. Another neat feature is that you will have your choice between the Ultramarines and Imperial Fist paint schemes.
You’ll be able to upgrade your tanks to suit your desired build. Whether it’s heavy defense and slow firing weapons, a weaker defense and faster firing weapons, or a combination of both, you’ll have plenty of options to build your desired tank.
Here we’re seeing what the Vindicator is going to look like, as well as the Imperial Fist theme.
This is also the first look we’re getting of what the map for the event is going to look like as well. From what Sk8xtrm said in his video, this is an existing map that they simply re-skinned for the event.
World of Tanks is already a very popular video game, and it looks like their fan base is about to grow even more. The initial announcement that they are collaborating with Games Workshop and working on bringing new tanks into the game from the 41st millennium came out just over a month ago.
Both World of Tanks Blitz and Warhammer 40,000 are about fierce battles. Residents of these universes are tough, strong-willed, and brutal. Their only goal is victory, and there is only one way to achieve it—to destroy enemy forces. There is no place for weakness, no quarter is asked and none is given, and armored vehicles are extremely valued here.
For the Emperor! In Blitz!
The collaboration of these warlike universes was just a matter of time, and now the time has come!
We’re glad the time is finally here where we can jump behind the wheel of a tank from the Warhammer universe and battle it out against opponents online in World of Tanks Blitz: Macragge’s Thunder. It’s great to see that Games Workshop and World of Tanks have teamed up to bring a new way to play this already popular game. Once again, this event is only running through November 15th, so make sure you head on over to the World of Tanks website and download your copy today!
