Chapter Approved is almost here and today we’re getting a look at the new Vehicle Design Rules, as well as the datasheets for your different land raiders.
Scanner is at it again, and this time we’re getting a look at the Vehicle Design Rules from the new Chapter Approved book. Let’s take a look the rules and some of the datasheets.
The Land Raider Variants page gives you a full breakdown on designing your own custom Land Raider. But, if that’s not your style they’ve also included some premade datasheets to get you in the game a lot quicker.
These are only playable in Open Play, they cannot be used in match play. With that being said, Power Levels are the only thing you’ll need to worry about, there is no point values for any of these.
For the Space Wolves fans you’re getting access to the Wrath of Mjalnar Land Raider. If you take it with the standard loadout you can transport 5 Space Wolves Infantry models, but it can’t transport Primaris models. Additionally, each Jump Pack, Terminator, or Wulfen model take the space of two other models.
Blood Angels are getting the Angel Infernus. This one can Transport 7 Blood Angels Infantry models, can’t transport Primaris models, and each Jump Pack or Terminator model takes the space of two other models.

Now you didn’t think we’d leave Chaos out did you? Heretic Astartes players are going to get access to Hades Diabolus. It’s equipped with a reaper autocannon, two heavy bolters, and two twin lascannons. It can transport 5 <Legion> models, each Jump Pack or Terminator takes the space of two other models, and each Cult of Destruction model takes the space of three other models.
The new VDR rules look like they’re going to be a lot of fun to play around with on the tabletop. Make sure you’re checking back in with us for the latest Chapter Approved updates as we get closer to the release.
