White Dwarf Turns 40

Fulgrim: The Palatine Phoenix $19

Fulgrim Book 6 Palatine Phoenix

Primarchs Book 6
Seeking a new challenge and a mighty triumph, Fulgrim – prideful primarch of the Emperor’s Children – sets out to conquer a world with just seven warriors by his side…

READ IT BECAUSE
It’s a unique look at Fulgrim, always one of the most fascinating of the primarchs. And with a focus on him and a small band of heroes, you’re guaranteed explosions in character dynamics as well as the action…

THE STORY
Lord of Chemos and bearer of the Palatine Aquila, Fulgrim, primarch of the Emperor’s Children, is determined to take his rightful place in the Great Crusade, whatever the cost. A swordsman without equal, the Phoenician has long studied the art of war and grows impatient to put his skills, and those of his loyal followers, to a true test. Now, accompanied by only seven of his finest warriors, he seeks to bring a rebellious world into compliance, by any means necessary. But Fulgrim soon learns that no victory comes without cost, and the greater the triumph, the greater the price one must pay…

Farsight: Crisis of Faith (PB) $16

Farsight Crisis of Faith Royal

A T’au Empire novel
Fresh from his victory on Arkunasha, the young Commander Farsight leads a crusade to reclaim colonies lost to mankind’s Imperium. But stiff resistance will test him to his limits, and beyond.

READ IT BECAUSE
Phil Kelly continues his look at the life of Commander Farsight with his first campaign against the full might of the Imperium, and shows how the T’au Empire’s technological superiority fares against Imperial grit.

THE STORY
The t’au are a mysterious alien race, diametrically opposed to the Imperium of Man in every possible way – in their mastery of technology, methods of warfare and social structure. Yet in galactic terms they are a young race, and naive when it comes to the manipulations of Chaos. When promising young Commander Farsight is promoted to lead a crusade across the Damocles Gulf to reclaim the T’au Empire’s lost colonies from mankind, the mood is one of optimism. With their mighty fleet, and superior weapons and machines, how can their endeavour possibly fail? However, despite a parade of early successes, Commander Farsight soon faces enemies he wasn’t anticipating, and finds not only his courage but also his soul tested to the very limit.

Vampire Wars: The von Carstein Trilogy $21

Vampire Wars Omnibus

A Warhammer Chronicles omnibus
The origins and legacy of the von Carsteins, most infamous vampires of the World That Was, are explored in this classic trilogy of novels that spans the centuries and three of the most famous scions of that storied bloodline.

READ IT BECAUSE
Vlad, Konrad, Mannfred – names that echo through history (and in the latter case, even into the Mortal Realms). But who were they, and how was their threat to the Empire defeated? Read this classic trilogy and find out.

THE STORY
The von Carsteins were the most infamous bloodline of vampires to ever stalk the Warhammer Old World. Their very names – Vlad, Konrad and Mannfred – were whispered in fear by the people of the Empire, conjuring up images of doom, death and destruction. Charting the vampire family’s rise to power in the shadow-haunted lands of Sylvania and their century-spanning wars with the Empire, this omnibus edition collects all three of Steven Savile’s classic von Carstein novels into one gore-drenched volume.
