A fan favorite for Imperial players everywhere, Omega Leader is a beast. With an ability to lock down any ship you target lock, your opponent will have a hard time dodging Omega Leader once he sets his sights on his prey. Let’s dive into the tactics.
Omega Leader is a big target for you foes, so let’s make their mission as difficult as possible. Debris Gambit is a new Elite talent option that has an action ability that can allow you to assign 1 evade token to your ship for each obstacle at range 1, to a maximum of 2 evade tokens. This can give your defense a super boost and will make Omega Leader that much harder to kill. Even more so for the ship that Omega Leader has locked.
Advanced Optics is a great upgrade to have when you can’t get your Debris Gambit ability off. Much like the Comm Relay ability to hang on to Evade tokens, Advanced Optics allows you to keep your unused Focus tokens assigned to your ship. This can really add up fast is you have a Focus and 2 Evade tokens on Omega Leader.
Stealth Device is a great modification to add to Omega Leader to make him even more sneaky. You can’t count on hanging orund obstacle the whole match, so 4 defense dice is a great way to keep him alive a little longer in X-Wing.
