Grievous Harm: Star Wars Destiny Build

By Barclay Montgomery | April 20th, 2018 | Categories: Star Wars Destiny, Star Wars Tactics

General Grievous is back with some special new modifications that will ensure that he gets the upper hand on his old nemesis: General Kenobi!

General Grievous is back in action in Star Wars Destiny, and he looks even more powerful than before. This version of Grievous is deadly with his extra arms, as he can have an additional upgrade on him, bringing the number up to 4 for upgrades. He can also ignore play restrictions on weapons played on him, gaining the ability to use Blue or Yellow character only weapons with ease. His character dice is aggressive; 1 melee, 2 melee, 3 melee, 2 disrupt, and 1 resource. Grievous is also packing a Power Action this time that will deal 4 damage to a character if 4 of his weapon dice are in your dice pool.

General Grievous always has an escape plan in mind, especially with his Wheel Bike nearby. This 3 cost support comes with a dice boasting 1 ranged, 2 melee, +3 melee, 1 disrupt, and 1 discard. Grievous’ Wheel Bike also comes with a Power Action  that allows you to spend 1 resource, or spot General Grievous, to ready Grievous’ Wheel Bike. This can get you more mileage out of his damage dice with this support.

A new Event card that is tailor-made for General Grievous is Furious Assault. For 2 resource, you may spot 2 Red characters or General Grievous to roll all weapon dice on one of your characters into your pool. This can allow your weapon dice to be in your pool without having to activate Grievous. This can activate his Power Action of dealing 4 damage to a character, can allow him to resolve his weapon dice at his leisure, and then activate him to roll those dice again into this pool. Furious Assault indeed!
