The Sons of Sanguinius make a fantastic entrance with their reds and golds. Take a look at this army showcase featuring the Blood Angels and all their versatility.

This amazing Blood Angels army may or may not have been painted by Kenny Boucher over at Next Level Painting.

The majority of the models in this army are from Forge World, including Mark V Heresy armor, jump packs, and special characters. The army includes gold Breachers, instead of Sanguinary Guard, Sanguinary Priests, Tactical Squads, Tartarus Terminators, a Contemptor Dreadnought, Storm Ravens, Razorbacks, Rhinos, and Predators. Weapons include flamers, meltas, bolters, swords, and many other options.

All the vehicles have modular options for weapons, including turrets for the Razorbacks with various gun options. The Predators have options for flamers, twin assault cannons, and even options to convert into Rhinos. The Storm Raven has awesome fades, including high-speed streaking and glasswork. The Contemptor has close-contact weapons to do heavy damage with anything he attacks.

For characters, this army includes Mephiston, Dante, the Sanguinor, and several other big names in the Blood Angels faction. Each one has some fantastic options and can do a lot of work on the table with their battle brothers.

The paint job is fantastic as it is easily reproducible, should any new models be added to the army. The models were painted with the old line of Citadel paints. They can be done with Vallejo Game Color as well, with reds, yellows, greens, golds, blacks, and white all still the same as they were back then.

The army is fantastic on the table, especially with its Red Thirst ability, granting a battle-forged Blood Angels army the ability to add one to wound rolls when charging, when they were charged, or made a Heroic Intervention. The Stratagems have great options as well, especially with the jump troops. For instance, Upon Wings of Fire (1 CP) allow you to move a jump pack unit anywhere on the battlefield (more than 9″ away from enemy models) instead of doing their normal movement. There are other fantastic options as well.

Overall, Blood Angels can be quite fun to play with many different strategies and shenanigans. Be sure to check out Next Level Painting on Twitch for awesome tutorials. Take a look at the amazing paint job and army by pressing play on the video below!
