Captain Jonus, should be called Captain co-ordinate for all the abilities he brings to the table for all the Imperial players out there!

Captain Coordinate: Star Wars X-WingThis TIE Bomber build will eschew the main design of the TIE Bomber and go for a more support oriented role. Captain Jonus is at a decent PS of 6 and his pilot ability is what will make this squad run well.

When another friendly ship at range 1 attacks with a secondary weapon, it may reroll up to 2 attack dice. This will benefit your squad most by keeping them together and flying in a tight formation, and gaining you rerolls in the process.

Since Jonus’ ability does not affect himself, he will go all in on buffing his other squadmates. Giving Jonus the TIE Shuttle title will allow him to equip up to 2 crew members that can further aid your squad. Let’s go all in on this!

Start by assigning a Fleet Officer to your TIE Shuttle. This 3 point crew upgrade gives you an action ability: Choose up to 2 friendly ships within 1-2 and assign 1 focus token to each of those ships; then receive 1 stress token. This is a great way to give your fellow squadmates some extra help whilst they are attacking, in addition to Jonus’ reroll. We can also take advantage of the stress that comes with Fleet Officer.

Since Jonus will not be firing torpedoes or missiles, he has to rely on his primary weapon of 2 attack dice. This may not seem like much but can add up in the overall battle that ensues.

Wired is a great upgrade for Jonus since it is affected by stress. When attacking or defending, if you are stressed you may reroll 1 or more of your focus results. Since Jonus will more than likely use his actions to aid his squad, he will rarely get focus tokens of his own, so it all works out.

To cap it all off, Captain Jonus is ready to coordinate his squad for victory. Being able to give another friendly ship another action can really buff you squad up with rerolls, focus tokens, and extra actions. Jonus is a force multiplier for the Empire, Use him well!
