Emperor Palpatine will not be denied his unlimited power! Palpatine is still the one to watch out for in Star Wars Destiny!
The Original Way to Palpatine: Star Wars Destiny
Palpatine is the undisputed solo team titan in Star Wars Destiny. No other characters in the game can go it alone just like he does. But being a single character, he needs some extra help to stay healthy.
Fortify is a great Plot to give Palpatine. Being only 2 points, this can fill out your squad points nicely. This gives you a free shield at the start of each match and can make the Emperor that much harder to deal with. If your opponent opts to use their own battlefield instead of yours, you gain 2 more shields, effectively starting the game at 18 health for Palpatine!
Since Palpatine’s character ability is triggered by resolving his character dice, your opponent will be gunning for hard removal of his dice. The cards in this build will mitigate the punishing effects of die removal for Palpatine. Resolving his dice will give your opponent 2 additional damage, so they will be extremely focused on removal!
If you get a good roll from your initial activation, you can opt for All In. This 1 cost Event card allows you to resolve any number of your dice in to order of your choice. This can get the Emperor’s dice moving super fast before your opponent has a chance to remove his character dice. Combined with Force Speed or another powerful upgrade, you can have your opponent reeling at the start of your first turn!
Since his dice are vulnerable to removal, make your opponent pay dearly for it. Resilient is a powerful 2 coast upgrade that gives your character dice a second chance. After an opponent’s card effect removes one of the attached character’s character dice, you may exhaust this upgrade to re-roll that die into your pool. This forces your opponent to spend their removal mechanics on your dice twice fold, and soon they won’t be able to remove your character dice at all! 
Since the Battlefield is very important for Palaptine, Main Plaza is a great offensive and defensive choice. The claim effect of this battlefield moves 1 damage from a character to Main Plaza or moves all damage from it to a character, ignoring shields. This gives you healing potential for Palpatine as he will be able to claim the battlefield more often than your opponent due to having more characters to activate. Slowly build the damage up on Main Plaza and unleash it on your opponent in one fell swoop. The Emperor is all powerful!
