Titanicus has been spotted in a preview of a White Dwarf magazine. Don’t miss more insight on the game that’s coming soon!
A user by the name of Thorin posted these pics on DISQUS over the past two days, but for some reason did not post what may be the most important page… the pricing.
We don’t have any pricing clues yet but this is still a nugget of information. It looks like we may be getting some webstore exclusive items for the game as well as quite a few customization options. Check it out!
Titanicus in White Dwarf
We can see everything coming inside the Grand Master edition and rules set for the game on the left. But the right side of the pic shows three products that look like they’ll be webstore exclusives.
What could a Command Terminal pack possibly be? There’s also going to be a card pack for just the Warlord? Hopefully, all the Titans will get card packs and perhaps the Warlord is the only Webstore exclusive.
This was spotted off of a picture posted in the comments later by Thorin himself as well. Look at the last sentence of the pic.
There’s a choice of three heads, and armor plates in different designs, suggesting loyalty to the Emperor or the traitor Horus.
Be prepared to get your hobby on! According to this, they’ll come highly poseable and with three different choices of heads and armor meaning that you’ll be able to make a unique centerpiece to your army.
Here’s a segment from the “Bunker” of the magazine. You can get some ideas and tips on how to paint your Titans from some of the developers.
We’ve got the layout of the coming white dwarf as well. It looks like it’ll be touching mainly on Titanicus, the AoS universe, and hobby tips. We don’t have any pricing on anything that was spotted in the previews just yet. Hang tight and give it time. We are bound to see something pop up eventually.
In case you haven’t gotten enough previews to satisfy you this morning, check out our exclusive Titanicus post on what’s coming in the game.
We have photos from James Martin who was at the event itself, with some great Warhammer Community official product shots sprinkled in as well.
New Adeptus Titanicus Previews & Train: SPOTTED
Looks like you can set up city blocks and tight alleys for Titans to navigate in the heat of battle.
We’ve got an early look at the Titans on sprue in the display cases as well. It looks like there will be at least three Questor-class Knights on the sprue to the left.
On the right, we can see the Warlord upper body plates and a Reaver Titan in the back two sprues at the rear.
Titanicus Box Sets
Another look at the front of the rules set for the Titanicus game; the box is going to include all of the rules you’ll need to play the game. You’ll need to buy the box with all of the models separately.
On the other hand, it looks like a bundle box is also going to hit the shelves. It’ll have a handful of Titans to serve as a good building block as well as the rules set and even terrain. This would be the perfect box to split with your friend, and they can get the rules box above as well to make two sets. Conversely, now that it is confirmed the rules come in the starter box, why not just buy two instead?
Some Reaver and Warlord Titans were spotted in the display cases to give you a better idea of the scaling between these minis.
Check out some Questors, a Reaver, and a Warlord Titan from the game up against an actual 40k Warhound Titan. Look at how small those Questor-class Titans are!
Speaking of Warhounds, where are the mini-hounds at???
A world of Ruin
When you have Titans marching through streets blasting heavy weaponry at each other, things are bound to break. Prepare to see blasted buildings and craters in the pavement.
Here’s an idea of how the Titanicus terrain will look. Go ahead and make some yourself so you’ll have it ready when the game drops.
Thomasius Dominus the Train Engine will be making a debut in the Titanicus game. Could this be a terrain piece or will this have rules as well? It looks like we can see turrets on one of the train cars. Maybe the players will have to escort/intercept it on the tabletop.
