The TIE Punishers are closing in on their prey and this time they have backup! A helping hand from a TIE/SF Fighter will keep them in sync.

Black Eight Sq. Pilot TIE Punisher

A single TIE Punisher can be difficult to handle, but with 2 of them flying in formation the punishment is sure to come! With 2 Black Eight Squadron Pilots, you can unleash a devastating volley of missiles at your enemies. Let’s get this pain train rolling! Accuracy Corrector

Giving each of these ships an Accuracy Corrector can create fault tolerance. Being able to fire each turn with their primary weapon and “always” get 2 hits is crazy good. This opens up the Punishers’ actions by not having to rely on focus tokens to keep the pressure on. Your target locks however can come in handy with this next ordnance upgrade. Cluster Missiles

Cluster Missiles gives extra mileage to your Accuracy Correctors. If you have a target lock on the defender, you may spend it to perform a 3 dice attack and range 1-2 twice. This can be a great way to extend the damage potential, as you can reliably treat each volley as 2 hits at least. This can result in 4 damage that your opponent will have to deal with. Better that some ships can muster at range 1, and all at range 1-2! Quickdraw TIE/SF Fighter

An excellent wingman for these Punishers is Quickdraw. He may not look like it, but with the right upgrades he can provide valuable escort. He also is able to deal out extra damage by being able to perform a primary weapon attack each time he loses a shield. This works great with a Fire Control System. Fire-Control System

Fire Control System allows Quickdraw to gain a target lock on the defender each time he performs an attack. Since he has the chance to attack multiple times in any given round this can give him plentiful target locks. This can either be used to great effect with his Special Forces Training or can be used to aid his fellow Punishers.

Targeting Synchronizer

If one of your Punishers finds itself without a target lock, a Targeting Synchronizer can help lock your enemies down. This tech upgrade allows a friendly ship at range 1-2 to effectively used Quickdraw’s target lock as their own.

This can allow your Black Eight Squadron Pilots to fire their Cluster Missiles by using Quickdraw’s target locks! Since he will have plenty to go around, he won’t mind passing them off!
