The Count Returns: Star Wars Destiny

Count Dooku is back with a whole new swagger that’s fitting for a Sith Lord in Destiny. 2 melee, 3 melee for a resource, 1 focus, 2 shields, and 1 resource perfectly mirrors Dooku’s abilities with a lightsaber: perfect defense and offense. The new Count also has a new character ability that kicks in after you activate him: you may turn one of his character dice to a side showing melee and turn an opponent’s die showing melee to any side. Perfect offense and defense.

Mother Talzin

Mother Talzin has a storied past with Count Dooku, but she will use her Dark Magicks to assist him this time to defeat the Heroes.  Her ability to change die sides with her character ability and focus can help to support Dooku, as well as her ranged sides in assisting with damage. Baroottan Sphere

Mother Talzin will be more effective in her foresight with a Bardottan Sphere. 1 discard, 1 resource, and 2 special ability sides make for a supportive upgrade. The special ability allows you to discard the top card of a deck, and if that card’s cost is an odd number deal  1 damage to a character. Its an effective deck milling tool that can sometimes deal damage as well. Dagger of Mortis

Since Dooku is the perfect melee engine, the Dagger of Mortis will work perfectly. This legendary Blue upgrade has redeploy and is a crazy melee boost to Dooku. 2 melee, 2 melee, +3 melee, 1 shield and 1 resource. It also has a nifty ability to move a shield from 1 character to attached character. A nice little way to further boost Count Dooku’s defense while he is attacking. Unyielding

To wrap it all up, Unyielding will be the trump card for this deck. This 1 cost Blue Event allows you to resolve any number of your Blue dice showing melee or ranged damage in the order of your choice, treating this damage as unblockable. It won’t be very difficult with Dooku and Talzin to get a ton of melee dice setup in this deck. Use your knowledge of the Dark Side and Dark Magicks to manipulate your own victory in Destiny!
