Tyranid Warts? Latest Rumor Engine SPOTTED

gw store rumor engine

It’s that time of the week again and it looks like a Tyranid has some skin problems going on. What do you think it could be exactly? Let’s take a look.

Warhammer Community posted a new pic of the latest rumor engine that looks like it might be part of a Tyranid. We’ve never seen detail quite like this bit, but it definitely has some Tyranid undertones. Check out what we’re talking about.

See the Tyranid undertones we’re talking about? The raised scales on the sides of the pic look all-too-close to some Tyranid models already out.

Here’s an example.

Notice the pattern in the scales? Granted, the scales for a Trygon are huge in comparison, you still get the idea.

Not what are those things that look like they’re embedded in the skin? Are those toxin sacs? Could they be gems? What about just some bad acne? Who knows! It’s a little difficult to tell by going off this pic alone.

Lastly, what part of the model are we looking at? The pic is so zoomed in, we can’t see if the model ends or keeps going beyond the borders. But with the way that everything flares out, it looks like it may be similar to a Hydralisk from Starcraft.

Notice the way the bit looks like it flares out just like the head of the Hydralisk? Maybe there’s a new Tyranid model on the way! Maybe it’ll be something close to a Hydralisk.

What do you think about the rumor engine bit? There are no wrong answers so give us your opinion. Do you think we are looking at a new Tyranid model? What part of the model are we looking at? Let us know what you think in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
