On the frozen steppes of dawn, Aleph has deployed one of her forward bases to fight against the combined army invaders. However, the Ariadnans suspect that it is just the first stage of a plot of the AI to increase her influence over their planet…and they will not allow that!
Operation Coldfront features Aleph and Ariadna going head to head. The set includes 14 miniatures, an introductory rulebook, scenery, play mat (which has a fun poster on the back), dice, and all tokens needed to play the game. All the models are metal and require assembly. Each model does have fantastic detail.
Each miniature comes in a plastic bag, which is easy to sort and figure out which pieces go where. Metal will require cleaning up of flash and mold lines.
The faction Ariadna is an army of survivors, based on the first human colony ship full of Russians, Americans, French and Scottish colonists. They have a lot of pieced together technology and work to defend their home.
Ariadna’s starter pack includes 3 Line Kazaks, 1 Tankhunter, 1 Veteran Kazak, and 1 Ariadna Scout.
Aleph is the name of the AI that oversees the data network and oversees all human activity…unsure if it is aiding or hindering. The Aleph starter pack includes 3 Dakini Tactbots, 1 Shukra Consultant, 1 Yadu Trooper, and 1 Deva Functionary.
