The Galaxy’s deadliest hired gun is now available for purchase. Boba is an independent operative, meaning that as long as he’s getting paid, he’ll get the job done.
Despite the military advantages of the Galactic Empire, it is difficult for them to completely stamp out the flames of rebellion. The Rebels always seem to be one step ahead, secreting themselves away in the far corners of the galaxy. So when the Empire needs someone who can do more than fire a blaster, Imperial generals have no qualms about hiring bounty hunters to track important Rebel targets and join the fight alongside their troops.
Boba Fett is able to have a presence almost anywhere on the battlefield. His jump pack and gadgets make him a force to be reckoned with against almost any foe. He can crack armor with his Z-6 Jetpack Rocket and Carbine.
In addition to the gadgets and weapons unlocked by his command cards, Boba Fett always carries a diverse array of weaponry that help him dole out damage. Whether he chooses to launch a Wrist Rocket, fire his carbine, or attack up close with his Boot Spikes, you can be assured that he has the perfect weapon for any situation.
It gets even better. He can pool his dice together when attacking because of his Arsenal 2 keyword, letting him wipe out an entire unit with one attack.
Boba Fett is one tough Bounty Hunter. His Mandalorian armor lets him roll a red dice on saves and can reroll his dice against enemy fire with the Pierce keyword.
Now let’s take a look at some Scouts from Fantasy Flight Games!
Scout Troopers Unit Expansion: $24.95

Hand-picked from the best troops the Empire has to offer, Scout Troopers are prepared to take on the toughest missions, including advanced reconnaissance and infiltration.
Within the Scout Troopers Unit Expansion, you’ll find a squad of seven unpainted, easily assembled Scout Trooper miniatures that can be used to field two different special forces units: a standard squad or a two-miniature strike team.
When it comes to loadout, you can give them the EC-17 Hold Out Blasters. These bad boys dish out two black dice for each attack. You can also add a DLT-19x Sniper to pick out targets that have no chance of dodging rounds. A four-man squad only costs 60 points. From there, you can go long range fire support or close range disruption.
Keep in mind that the Scouts get access to Sonic Charges. These can litter an area with explosives to keep the enemy back and disrupt enemy fire. You’ll have to get in close with your squad to be effective with the charges. It may be a good idea to give them all the EC-17’s Blasters.
If you had to pick a unit, would it be Boba Fett or a squad of Scouts? What are you going to load your Scouts with? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
