Today, we’ll be taking a closer look at what Boba Fett is bringing to the tabletop for Star Wars legion in the latest preview from FFG.

He’s No Good to me Dead

At any given moment, Boba Fett is ready to attack with no fewer than three weapons, and his Sharpshooter 2 keyword ensures that his ranged attacks land with pinpoint accuracy. His EE-3 Carbine can pierce through enemy defenses, making it the perfect option for taking on large groups of enemy troops. Still, anyone with a skill set like Boba Fett’s is likely to draw fire from more than just ground troops, and this powerful bounty hunter is prepared to face anything with armor thanks to his Wrist Rockets.

This weapon rolls the same two black dice as the EE-3 Carbine, but adds the extra power to crack enemy armor. Both of these weapons are powerful on their own, but Boba Fett doesn’t necessarily have to choose between them. He is the first trooper unit in the game to bear the Arsenal keyword, allowing him to combine the dice and keywords from his EE-3 Carbine and Wrist Rockets into a single pool for one devastating attack or two quick attacks against separate units.

Boba Fett can wipe out an entire squad of Infantry with his ZX Flamer and EE-3 Carbine. His weapons ignore cover, cancels a block result, and adds a red attack dice for every model in the squad. No one can hide from this Mandalorian.

Boba Fett is the epitome of specialized units. He’s earned a reputation as the most-feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy for a reason. He comes equipped with gear for almost every situation.

He’s Still a Bounty Hunter

Boba Fett may fight for the Empire but he’s still a Bounty Hunter at the end of the day. He’s got a mission of his own.

Boba Fett bears the Bounty keyword, which lets him place a victory token on an enemy commander or operative after setup. Then, if Boba Fett can defeat the marked unit, he can claim the bounty, adding another victory token to your total at the end of the game.
