GW’s 40k New Pricing Strategy: Kill Team Commander Sets

40k Kill Team’s battlefield leaders are here! Come and take a look at the first wave of the Commanders Expansions for your favorite Kill Team factions.

Round One of the new Kill Team Commanders Expansions are here! We are going to dive into three of these new kits and see what the future holds for Kill Team and if you play any of these factions, see if this upgrade is worth your hard earned hobby dollars.

Commanders don’t gain experience like other units, they “level up”. Also, the missions are what allow you to take a commander (Narrative and Matched play). They give you new points levels to utilize these new heroes etc.

GW’s 40k New Pricing Strategy: Kill Team Commander Sets

First, out of the gate, we get to see the new Torrvald Orksbane kit. and though these kits are small in stature they come with a wealth of Kill Team content. You not only get the level cards and game aides for each miniature that is present in the Kill Team Commanders Expansion.

You also get the cards for the rest of the Commander options available to their Kill Team faction i.e. a Space Marine Commander, Chaplain, and Librarian etc.

This adds an amazing amount of game value to these expansions.

Here it is folks the first official Orktober release form Games Workshop! Gitzog Wurldkilla might just add a little more mobility to your Ork Kill Team and get you to Krumpin’ faster with his Mega-Waaagh! Tactic or keep the boyz in line with his Breakin’ Heads Tactic.

Either way Gitzog might help put your Ork Kill Team on top of the Leader bracket!

Last, but not least, we get to dive into the Necron Commander Expansion and take a look at Ankra The Colossus.

These new Necron Commander tactics like Vendetta looks disgustingly good for the Necron faction, rerolling 1 is always good. But the real winner even at 3 command points is Resurrection Orb.
