GW’s Battleforce boxes for 2018 are looking to have some big values, but are they better than last years? Let’s compare 2017’s boxes with the new lineup!
Keep in mind, for the past two years, the boxes have been sitting right at $170. However, they’ve all also sat around the same savings value. The 2018 Battleforces are showing even more value almost across the entire board.
So could GW be throwing never before seen value at the shelves? Or will these boxes break the pattern of the $170 price? Note that none of the Battleforce boxes faction configurations from 2017 returned in 2018.
Pricing-wise we have some clues as to what the 2018 costs will be:
As seen above in this years holiday gift guide, ¥23,000 is the Japanese currency called Yen.
From the looks of it here on the Japanese GW site, last years $170 battleforces appear to also cost ¥23,000. So chances are, the price of $170 for Battleforces will stay the same for 2018!

Comparing the Old to the New-2018 Battleforces
Now that we’ve taken a look at the 2017 Battleforces (that were $170) value, let’s compare this year’s Battleforces. There are a few boxes that have astronomical value for what’s coming inside. Maybe GW will raise the price on those boxes and keep everything else around $170?

Assuming that the 2018 Battleforces sit at the same $170 price, which one will you be picking up? The Seraphon and Ultramarines Box Sets are showing the most value out of everything we’ve ever seen.
Do you think GW really wants to push those factions or will they cost somewhere in the range of $200 to balance out the savings between the other boxes?
