Forge World has new things up for pre-order for the Space Marine Legions, as they actually blew the dust off of one model and revamped it!
Forge World put up the new pre-orders on their website recently for some models in Horus Heresy. If you love the models, you can totally use them in 40k as well. (They’re all still Space Marines).
Proteus Land Speeder Set 1 $78
The classic Land Speeder design from way back in the day has been revamped using the latest technology Forge World has to offer. The first set for the Proteus Land Speeder includes:
- Plasma Cannon
- Heavy Flamer
- Multimelta
- Heavy Bolter
- Grav Gun
- Hunter Killer Missiles x2
This kit comes as 43 components, and is supplied with a 60mm round base. Rules can be found in The Horus Heresy – Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List.
Proteus Land Speeder Set 2 $78
This kit is the same model as the one above with a different loadout of bits. These models may be lightly armored, but they are fast and armed to the teeth. The second set comes with:
- Volkite Culverin
- Havoc Launcher
- Heavy Bolter
- Hunter Killer Missiles x2
This kit comes as 43 components, and is supplied with a 60mm round base. Rules can be found in The Horus Heresy – Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List.
Proteus Anti Tank Squadron $218.40
The kit comes with three of the first set of the Proteus Land Speeder kits. Multimelta and Plasma cannons galore! Make sure you hit first with these guys. They are a huge threat to armor but can be swept off the board easily. They come with:

- Multimelta
- Heavy Bolter
- Grav Gun

If you need some fast-moving infantry shredding units, a squadron of these guys might do you some justice. These are perfect harassers that can keep your opponents off of objectives. The anti-infantry kit comes with:

Alpha Legion Praetor in Catacphractii Armor $39
Praetors are basically the Captains of 30k. These are a staple unit in any force and are highly sought after!
This multipart resin kit contains the components necessary to assemble an Alpha Legion Praetor in Cataphractii Terminator Armour. Posed aiming his volkite charger forward, cloak swirling about him, he holds a power swod in his left hand.
The kit comes as 9 components and is supplied with a 32mm round base. Rules can be found in The Horus Heresy – Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Legions.
Alpha Legion Praetor $33
This multipart resin kit contains the components necessary to assemble an Alpha Legion Praetor. Posed drawing his vicious power sword, and with a holstered bolt pistol on his hip, he’s the perfect addition to your Alpha Legion – dynamic-looking and capable of some brutal assaults.
The kit comes as 10 components and is supplied with a 32mm round base. Rules can be found in The Horus Heresy – Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Legions.
Alpha Legion Hydra Elite $132
Field an Alpha Legion Praetor in Cataphractii Terminator Armour – a fearsome and powerful war leader indeed – with an equally capable bodyguard with this bundle. In it you’ll find:
– An Alpha Legion Praetor in Cataphractii Terminator Armour, a resin kit armed with a volkite charger and power sword
– A set of 5 resin Alpha Legion Lernaean Terminators, clad in Cataphractii Tactical Dreadnought armour and armed with vokite chargers and power axes – one model has the option to take a conversion beamer.
These pre-orders are all available right now on for Forge World web store. They’ll be ready to ship on November 16, 2018.
