Don’t miss all the new rules previews and teasers that were just spotted for Necromunda and Titanicus in December’s White Dwarf magazine.
The stats and rules for the Delaque gang in Necromunda as well as the points cost for the Cerastus Knight banners in Titanicus were noticed making their rounds on Imgur. Let’s break everything down.
House Delaque Stats
We know about House Delaque hitting the Necromunda scene with updated models. That can only mean a brand new set of rules for them too!
The Delaque gang looks to have generally the same weapon selection as other gangs. Of course, you can always splurge on a character and give them photo-goggles and web solvent.
Leaders and Champions have the same wargear and weapon selection. These look to be the bread and butter units you want to keep alive. You can also go for the cheap “horde” alternative and spam the Juves. They cost half the points as a Ganger but can’t be given any equipment that costs over 20 credits.
As for House Delaques weapons, they’ve got a quick reference chart. Throwing knives, web gauntlets, flechette pistols and stun grenades are the go-to choices for the House.
Titanicus Cerastus Points Spotted
We’ve been seeing these Cerastus models for Titanicus pop up in multiple different previews for a while now. However, all we had to go off of for the longest time was just the base points, as the back of the card was a mystery!
Today, we’ve got a glimpse at their points costs and stats.
Tiny Spartans Prepare for Tiny Glory!
GW made the announcement that more Cerastus-variant models were on the table, but they didn’t say when they’d be coming. To date, we’ve only seen the Lancer model.
But there are the points for the Acheron and Castigator…Could more be in the works behind the scenes? We think so!
With the Lancer costing 130+20pts, we should break down what it gets you. The Cerastus Shock Lance sits at S8 and you roll 2 Dice for it. On top of that, the Cerastus is looking to be nimble and cheap.
Moving 12″ and unaffected by difficult or dangerous terrain, you’ll be able to B-line the unit to enemy Titans and let them act like can openers getting a net +1 to called shots within 2″ range!
Of course, they won’t be able to stand up to any sustained amount of shooting, but the Lancer’s Ion helps a wee bit.
Adeptus Astartes Index & AoS Skirmish Mode
This image of the back of the White Dwarf was spotted online as well yesterday:
The return of the index Astartes is right around the corner. If you don’t know what that is, it’s from back in the day where GW would develop fluff and feature certain Chapters to build them up.
There’s also going to be some kind of mode coming to AoS 2.0 called Age of Sigmar Skirmish.
What do you think about House Delaques signature wargear? Will you be spamming Juves and control the board? Are you going to run these Cerastus Titans with the melee Warlord or stick with the ranged variant?
