Love Forge World and presents? Don’t miss this teaser for a new Horus Heresy model that’ll be getting unveiled on Christmas day this year.

It looks Forge World has been working on more Horus Heresy models and decided to give us a sneak peek at one model they’ll be unveiling on Christmas day. Can you guess what it is?

Mystery Horus Heresy Model

Christmas is nearly here – and as a present, we’ll be revealing the latest model in the Horus Heresy Character Series for you on Christmas day.

Forge World us a solid and told us what game this model is going to drop into. But past that, we have no clue what it’ll look like.

Our first guess was a Techmarine model. Going by the picture, you can see the Axe head that every Techmarine carries. Those “arms” poking out could even be part of his Servo-Harness.

There aren’t too many models that come stock with an Axe as a melee weapon. Plus, most Marines don’t have very many “bits” sticking out like the wrapping paper shows.

One last thing to note: We can’t actually tell the full size of the model because it’s art. however, it looks like the base is going to be full of detail like most Horus Heresy character models.

All in all, it’s nice to see Forge World preview minis like this. If you remember way back in the day, they would show off coming models with a “jigsaw puzzle” pattern over most of the detail.

They’ve definitely stepped up their game and gave us a hard one to figure out. On the bright side, we only have to wait about two more weeks before we see everything!

Could this be a brand new unit? Could it be a festive Santa Claus Marine? Let us know what you think in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
