By Tim Roberts | December 24th, 2018 | Categories: 40k News & Articles

Slaanesh’s Wrath and Rapture box is here! Don’t miss our unboxing of this great new release and all the new models for Khorne as well!

Mortal Reams beware, the Wrath and Rapture dual Age of Sigmar and Warhammer Starter box set is finally here.

There is pretty big savings to be had from the new Warhammer Wrath & Rapture box set that was released in time for the holidays, and can be played in both AoS and 40k!

Realm of Chaos: Wrath and Rapture: $160

Get Yours For Less From Miniature Market!

Wrath and Rapture, Rage and Pain, Violence and Grace. All of this and more can be found in the Realms of Chaos: Wrath and Rapture. This incredible set unleashes the uncontrolled fury of the Blood God, Khorne, and the seductive temptation of the Prince of Pleasure, Slaanesh. Not only do you get a host of daemonic minions that serve these rival Chaos Gods, but there are no less than three booklets that introduce new background and rules for both Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Warhammer 40,000!

We start out by going over all the value that you get inside this box as Wrath and Rapture is indeed a great deal for $160 retail. As you can see at current prices you will be getting at least double your value by even by conservative estimates on the new model sets pricing.

If you would like to see the complete breakdowns for yourself check out our Wrath and Rapture Breakdown Post from earlier in the month.

The new Fiends of Slaanesh look great, as they have come a long way since the days of the metal models. The only worry from looking at the instructions is that they may be some gaps to fill.  If you are looking for a seamless fit to paint over, you might want to keep some plastic cement or Vallejo Platic Putty on hand to make the connections 100% flush.

As far as the new Infernal Enraptress goes, it is amazing how these parts can be so small and pack so much detail. This Miniature looks great and we can’t wait to see one on the tabletop in action! Again be sure to mind the gaps when you assemble her so you get a flush fit.
