The ETC is Warhammer 40k on a global scale where 30 plus countries battle to see who can bring home the title for their country. This is some of the finest competitive 40k you will ever see and Team USA is asking for your help to get back to the event this year!

All of these are great questions, now let’s jump right into it and start answering them!
Warhammer 40k is a tabletop war game. It is something like chess and “Risk” combined into one. Unlike these two other games, the figures that we use in “40K” are far more advanced. These models require hours of assembling and painting. Once you have spent hours on end to get the models put together and painted you are ready to put them on the table. An average game lasts around two and a half hours.
If that doesn’t sound exhausting enough during our five day trip to Serbia, we will play ten plus games that can last up to four hours long!
What is Team USA?
Team USA consists of eight elite team members and one coach. The team members lead by their Captains Sean Nayden and Stephen Fore.
Team members include- Alex Fennel, Nick Rose, Goff Robinson, Warner Born, Austin Wingfield, and Brad Chester.
Team coach – to be determined.
What is ETC?
The European team championship is held yearly at a different host country. Previous countries include Spain, Greece, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.
Thirty plus countries come together to face off and decide who will reign supreme.
The unique nature of this event will put team members in an attacker vs defender style game where each team will have to put a list up for the opposing team to counter.
This team event will showcase not only the expert level of play it will take to win a game of 40k but the strategy behind creating lists and preparing for the match-ups.
Where is Serbia and why are we going there?
This year’s ETC will be held in Serbia. Serbia is north of Greece and southwest of Ukraine. Depending on where you are in the states, that’s about a twelve-hour flight.
The expected cost of flight, hotel, and food for each team member is about $1,800. So, any help what so ever you can do will be extremely appreciated.
As a bonus, anyone who donates $50.00 or more will receive a Team USA shirt. Shirts will be shipped at no cost to the receiver if within the continental U.S.
