A New GW Rumor Engine Appears: A Hatch to Keep you Safe

Games Workshop dropped another rumor engine today showing off some kind of hatch. But what could it go to exactly? Take a look at these ideas.

Warhammer Community previewed a brand new rumor engine bit and it’s no mistake that some kind of hatch. But what is it on? Maybe some kind of walker? Is it a new terrain piece? Let’s go over the possibilities.

A Hatch to Keep you Safe

Diving right into the rumor engine head first, what do you see? The first thing that came to our mind was something for the Mechanicum…

Notice the hatch on the top of the Dunecrawler? The bit definitely looks like it could have some close similarities! Unfortunately, we can’t see any kind of specific icons on the rumor bit. That means the door is wide open for your guesses!

We do know that the Sisters of Battle are getting reworked and they have a few vehicles of their own! Could it be possible that we are looking at something like a closed turret hatch to a tricked-out Imperial tank?

We definitely think that it’s Imperial, whatever the bit may be. There are not enough spikes for it to be Chaos and it’s too rugged to be any kind of Xenos technology.

Another guess we’re willing to make is that this could be the hatch to some kind of bunker-like terrain piece. We know factions have been getting their own terrain piece left and right and who says the Imperial Fists are above bringing a bunker to sit in!

If it is a Sisters vehicle, what would you like to see the faction get? Should they get their own vehicle that’s completely different from a Rhino? Do you think GW would make a bunker as a terrain piece for 40k? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
