Warhammer Adventures has been releasing animated shorts on Youtube for some time now inviting people to join in on the stories. These stories are geared more toward kids to introduce them into the hobby world at a younger age.
Never Give Up
In the video, this character is trying her best to knock the helmet off of a platform with a slingshot. She misses a couple and gets a few glances. However, gets frustrated.
The kid throws the slingshot down and just as she’s about to give up, a Stormcast guard puts the slingshot back into their hands. She takes a minute to focus…
Her imagination kicks in just like kids that age as she sees the helmet being worn by a massive Barbarian that looks nearly impossible to defeat. While dodging his blows, she pauses to aim and cracks him dead center in the face and stuns him long enough for her to escape from a burning building. (Could this be an obvious foreshadowing of what’s to come)? We’ll just have to wait and see!
We have to remember that Warhammer Adventures is geared towards younger viewers. This is the perfect opportunity to bring your children into the hobby. They could show a spark of interest in what you devote your time to. Of course, while the real 40k/AoS universes aren’t all sunshine and rainbows, it’s nice to see Games Workshop provide a way to appeal to almost every audience.
