This is The Perfect Chaincannon Bit for Chaos Havocs

Need more Chaincannins for your Chaos army? Check out this pack of bits that are the perfect counts as for the new Chaos Havoc kit!

What are we talking about exactly? Well, if you’ve been following the Chaos previews, there are new Havocs coming out. In those kits, there’s a nifty little gun called the Reaper Chaincannon.

New Havoc Kits & Weapon

GW has already announced that per Havoc kit you’ll only be getting one Reaper Chaincannon.

This kit will allow you to build 5 Havocs, armed with an array of heavy weaponry. Inside, you’ll find 2 missile launchers, 2 heavy bolters, 2 lascannons, 2 autocannons and 1 reaper chaincannon, giving you loads of choice when kitting out your squads.

The question is with only one of each of the 5 types of weapons on a single sprue and what appears to only be three pairs of legs, will the box set contain TWO of these sprues? Or perhaps there is a second sprue with just two more sets of legs and duplicate weapons sans the chaingun?

That seems to be the only way GW’s bits breakdown above would make sense.  Either way, this is where Bits of War comes in…

Bits of War Legionary Minigun 6,99 € (About $8 USD)

This set contains three high-quality resin Legionary Minigun designed to fit futuristic 28mm heroic scale heavy armoured troopers.

You’ll have to spend more money to get the infantry-shredding havocs you want. But it’ll be at the fraction of the cost for what it would take to buy four total Havoc kits. These will be looking great on your new Chaos models. Plus, with all of the screens running around in the current meta, they’ll definitely be getting used.

The trick will just be finding a way to get them within 24″ to use them properly! Of course, against something like Orks or GSC, play defensive and just mow down anything that gets too close.

At the end of the day, we feel like a bunch of Chaos players will be using the Chaincannon Havocs left and right. Of course, you always have the option of converting your own weapons. But these are a fast option that’ll look great and won’t burn a hole in your wallet.

Will you be buying a set of miniguns for each Havoc squad? What Legion will you be running them as?  Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
