There’s a new rumor engine in town and it looks like a tortured soul is coming from some kind of container. Take a look for yourself.

Right on time, Warhammer Community dropped another rumor engine and it looks like the stretched face of a soul leaving a container. Is this more realistic to what a genie leaving his lamp looks like?

Let’s go off of what we know right now. It almost looks like the contorted stretched out face of a soul leaving some kind of specialized container. The design of the soul looks like it’s roughly the same kind of design to Nighthaunt models. (We’re talking about the wispy ghost style). Lastly, the stone/container doesn’t ring any bells for a definite faction in AoS or 40k.

Now, even though it looks like we’re seeing the stretched out face of a soul, it might just be coincidence and the real “meat” of the bit is cut out. For all we know, it could just be the tail end of something bigger (and probably is). As for the peculiar stone or whatever, that thing is that the soul is coming out of, what do you think it is? Is it the tip of a Necromancer’s staff? Is it some kind of new Stormcast gear? While it’s not been confirmed, we’re leaning more towards this bit belonging to the AoS realm over 40k. It’s still entirely possible that this could be some kind of warp shenanigans going on. But we think this fits the style of AoS a bit better.

But new Ynnari rules are on the way too, and as this bit is painted already and not a 3D print, chances are that we’ll see whatever it is sooner, rather than later!

What do you think this bit could go to? What faction would be able to trap souls in a shard like that? Could this be more Nighthaunt support? Let us know what you think in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
